  1. I think the friendly lake monster might need their help. Maybe he's lost his favorite toy, and Diana and Josh help him find it using their binoculars!

  2. Oh, the friendly lake monster needs help alright.... His body is comically large compared to his head, yet he for some reason thought he was tiny enough to squeeze through a small space between a log and rock at the bottom of the lake, and he has now become stuck! After telling the children about his predicament, the boy plunks the end of his binoculars in the water and looks all the way down to the bottom to see for himself. They then begin the process of trying to find a solution to this problem. (Perhaps including pulling him up while he bites on to their oars, floating the log up with extra life vests, and perhaps calling for reinforcements from the nearby MacGillivray's Warblers.)

  3. We think that his problem might be that the water in the lake is too polluted and he can't recognize his home.

  4. I think this monster is misunderstood. The fish around him think he is a big weirdo, and the birds keep mistaking his head for a rock to land on. He's lost his way from his family in a nearby connected lake. Maybe Diana and Josh, can use their binoculars and boat to lead the monster back to his family and friends.

  5. I think he's a lonely monster because anybody who has ever seen him is afraid of him. He is looking for some friends to talk to.
