Hi Mr. Costello. We watched together and this is what the kids thought should happen next: Nora-The children should go back to their parents and get the oar. Diana then swims back to the monster. Josh drops the duck. They then swim down and pry the tree off. It works and they swim back to shore together. Fasja- I agree with the idea of them taking off their life jackets and tieing them to the tree so it floats up. They then all ride back to shore on the monster's back because they now have no life jackets. Georgia- They use a crane to take the tree out of the water. Then they see if the monster is hurt. If it is hurt they try and fix it. Skylar- The kids jump overboard. Their parents shout, " Why are you jumping in?" The girl says,"It is an emergency!". The girl and boy dive under the water. They pull and pull the log. The monster gets loose. As it comes up it breaks the boats. The monster comes back and gives them a ride to shore. As they are standing on the dock the kids give the monster back it's duck.
